The education industry is getting lopsided at the moment and this brought. about by the low educational investment in the form of money required. to
Everyone knows that university teaches all that required for a credit degree. with study and examinations given to seal the students and then subjected to bank accounts full of loans…
So there is not much studying left. as apart from the knowledge and math. there is little to no need to work during the years before getting an education.
This is why the vast majority of students, as they enter college. feel that the schooling is unpaid and there are no particular opportunities. to earn from any other career path.
So, to fix this, I argue that more funding should pumped into research and development. particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) majors. and as the theme seems to be very popular among-st the young generation. entrepreneurship.
Now, I do not say that all research should be undertaken by students because. yet again, this would reduce the workforce in the long term.
But there is very little gap in the opportunity by students. who study their degree subject. more or less full time because most of the academic side of the program done right before they start university./…
So, according to Business Insider. while we do think much of the emphasis on the university side should be offset. there are many ways to get the student. students involved without taking away from other opportunities.
But, there is certain research and innovation. that should be undertaken by university students. alongside training in their other areas of study:
1. Computer programming:
What makes the students stand out in STEM. subjects is the fact that they have to face the hard labor and thus be able to mentally survive without the constant support of their classmates./…
2. Tech entrepreneurship:
In the simplest way, college students as entrepreneurs forced to work hard.
3. Robotics:
Students who can do this and graduate with a degree rewarded. with lucrative internships and that become a major stepping stone to the next thing in their career/…
4. Data analysis:
This is what the students in STEM. majors also trained for in university and is the money making machine for many business startups today./…
This advice extends from the management side of the business as well.
As there are plenty of companies today who are reliant on data collection. this makes the students very much involved in the decision. making process of the business.
And this brings us to the third point of this article, which is how entrepreneurship can earned from outside the university setting./…
Once the students are in their studies, they are already equipped with a wide range of skills needed to work in their chosen field, from basics of R, GPT or Java script (Udemy offers courses in these latter two!).
These are very common learning packages nowadays and cost very little.
If the students put in the effort. there are also many AI startup resources that can also go into the students who interested in developing AI applications…
This could lead them through towards their final step. that is towards the entrepreneurship side of things, with some initial support from the university itself!!!…
