Candidates for the post of Sub Engineer (Electrical) need DAE in Electrical Technology and age limit is fixed as 21-30 years for male, 21-33 years for female. Similarly, DAE in Civil Technology is required for the post of Sub Engineer (Civil) and Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering for Assistant Director.
MBA, M.COM, ACMA, ACCA or B.COM degree is mandatory for Accounts Officer and Audit Officer posts, while MA, MSc or BS in Social Science, Public Administration or Business Administration for Instructor. Degree is required. MBBS or equivalent degree is required for the post of Senior Registrar Pediatric Gastroenterology, and the age limit is 25-50 years for males and 25-53 years for females.
Punjab Public Service Commission Selection Procedure
The written test is of 100 marks. A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass, i.e. you have to score 20 out of 50 marks. Interview is also of 100 marks, and academic marks of 50. Final merit is calculated out of 200 marks.
